Business around The World News: Each student will be required to make a short report regarding a current international business event. The report will be (3) pages in length and contain a cover page, along with reference page. Each student will select a recent global news story, analyze, and describe how it will impact the United States both politically and economically. Student will provide explanation of the news story, then examine potential scenarios and outcomes for the US entities involved. Criteria for evaluation: 1. Article selection (is the article published in the sources mentioned in this syllabus, is the article relevant and related to the material covered in class, and is the article and underlying topic current and important, etc. 2. Article summary and analysis. (was underlying topic of article properly introduction and motivate– i.e. was explanation for relevance of article and underlying topic given. Also, was interest creation among audience, were main points of the article summarize in brief, concise and to-the-point manner. 3. Level of professionalism and interest created (was presentation interesting, did presentation stimulate a class discussion on articles and underlying topic, was overall presentation style professional. 4. Timeliness of submission (were articles post onto Canvas on time)
