For this activity, complete the following steps
Choose a specific enteropathogen.
Describe the infectious agent (bacterial, viral, or fungus).
Describe the epidemiological characteristics including incubation period, clinical syndrome, pathophysiology, clinical manifestations of the infectious disease process, transmission routes, and testing (i.e. what specimens need to be collected for laboratory tests) as applicable.
Discuss antimicrobials used for treatment of the infectious disease.
Discuss the incidence rates in the United States compared with another country of your choice and any similarities or differences in factors that may contribute to the existence of the infectious disease in both locations.
