For this assignment, you must write an essay (5-6 pages including the works cited page) in which you choose
one of the following topics and analyze the novel, using examples from the text for support and at least 2
outside sources (sources outside the novel; i.e. related scholarly articles, published interviews, etc.) The paper
must have two outside sources.Please, as always, use the MLA format for this essay, including in-text and
works cited citations.To be clear and specific: I will see in the text of your paper and on your works cited page
at least three sources: 1) The novel An Absolutely Remarkable Thing, 2) outside scholarly source #1, and 3)
outside scholarly source #2 that you have researched and used in your paper. If I do not see at least these
three sources, your essay will not pass. You may, of course, use more than three sources in your paper, if you
wish, but only three are required.
