https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/09535314.2020.1804330 which explores the impact of tariffs on vehicle imports to the US, and the impacts on Spain in particular (jobs, economy) and world (jobs) as well as explores the indirect impacts of these tariffs. However, this paper does not much explore the American rationale and impacts for American companies (always good to consider what questions are not asked), which may not be economic arguments per se, but nationalistic / statist ones (we we discussed in Week 1, such as with the yoghurt).
