You have written two lesson plans in previous weeks for this course. Now, choose one of your previous lesson plans to analyze. Then, write a reflection about how your lesson plan aligns and/or does not align with the SIOP model. What could you do differently to use the SIOP model to increase comprehensible input for ELL students in your previous lesson?
For example, could you add more visuals, use more graphic organizers, etc.? Include specific examples from each stage of your lesson plan. Your reflection should include a research-based understanding of how the changes you made to your lesson make it more accessible for ELL students.
Length: 1 to 2-page paper, plus reference list
References: Include a minimum of 2 scholarly resources.
