Case study analysis.
After reading the case study on pages 32-33 of the Hutchison text and the 8 theoretical perspectives discussed
in chapter 2, answer the following questions: What got your attention when you read the story? As you read
about the 8 theoretical perspectives, did you see any ideas that addressed the things that caught your attention
about the story? If so, what were they? Were there things that caught your attention that did not seem to be
addressed by any of the perspectives? If so, what were they? Which perspectives seemed more closely
aligned with what caught your attention when first reading the story? Which perspectives provided you with
useful new ways to think about the story?
