If this is the case, how could cultural change be possible? Explain the main ingredients of culture and the process of socialization. Use all four sociological theories (Functionalism, conflict, symbolism, and feminism) to discuss this question. In other words, using the required readings and relevant materials and theories, discuss the potential conflict between socialization and cultural change. That is to say, if the objective of socialization is to prepare the individual to fit in an existing culture, is it possible for that culture to change?
